Do you charge sales tax?
Yes — sales tax is collected on orders shipped within South Carolina. No tax is charged for out-of-state orders unless required by law.
Do you ship outside of the U.S.?
Yes — TART Studios currently offers shipping to Canada and Mexico. We’re exploring options to expand to additional countries in the future.
Please note: TART Studios does not collect or prepay any import duties, taxes, or customs fees. These charges are the responsibility of the customer and are typically assessed by your local postal service or customs office upon delivery. They are not included in your order total and may need to be paid before or at the time of delivery.
We recommend reviewing your country’s import policies before placing an order.
Do you offer free shipping?
Yes — free shipping is available on all U.S. orders over $65.
Orders shipped to Canada or Mexico do not qualify for free shipping.
Shipping rates for international orders are calculated at checkout based on the weight and size of your order.
How long will it take to receive my order?
Each order is hand packed with care. Orders typically ship within 3–5 business days. Shipping times vary based on destination and selected method.
What do I do if my package is being returned due to an incomplete address?
Please email us, in most cases we can reship immediately, after reshipment fees have been paid by the customer.
What if my package was delivered to the wrong address?
We are not responsible for an incorrect address entered by the customer, please be sure to verify you are entering the correct address before completing your purchase.
What if my package says it was delivered but I never received it?
Once your package is marked as delivered, we are no longer responsible for its handling. Please contact your local postal service or carrier for assistance locating the package.
What if my package is lost?
We carefully package and hand off each order to the carrier. Once a shipment is accepted by USPS or another carrier, liability for loss or damage transfers to the shipping provider. Please contact your local postal service with your tracking number to file a claim if needed.
TART Studios does not assume responsibility for packages after they have been scanned in by the carrier.
We are not responsible for lost packages, this is out of our control. Please contact your local postal service for further information regarding your package.
Can I return or exchange my order?
Because each piece is handcrafted, all sales are final and we do not accept returns or exchanges.
If your order arrives damaged, please reach out **within 48 hours of delivery** with your order number and a clear photo of the issue. While we can’t guarantee replacements, we’ll always take the time to understand what happened and work with you to find the best possible solution.

What materials are used in your products?
TART Studios pieces are made with a variety of materials, including resin (and other protective sealers), wood, and other decorative components such as brass, stainless steel, and plated-metals.
While many customers with sensitive skin wear our jewelry comfortably, we do not guarantee that all pieces are hypoallergenic. Some materials may cause irritation or discoloration depending on individual sensitivities — especially in the case of resin, raw brass, base metals, or plated finishes.
If you have known metal or resin allergies or sensitivities, please use discretion when purchasing.
TART Studios is not liable for allergic reactions or material sensitivities.
Do you accept custom orders or made-to-order requests?
We currently do **not** offer custom, personalized, or made-to-order items. All pieces are made in small batches and sold as-is.
What happens if my product gets damaged after delivery?
TART Studios is not responsible for damage that occurs after delivery. This includes wear and tear, exposure to moisture, improper storage, or failure to follow care instructions. Our products are handcrafted and should be stored or displayed carefully to preserve their beauty.
How should I care for my jewelry?
To keep your jewelry looking its best:
- Avoid prolonged exposure to moisture or humidity.
- Remove before bathing, swimming, sweating, or sleeping.
- Store in a clean, dry place away from direct sunlight.
- Brass and plated components may naturally patina or fade over time.
How should I care for non-jewelry items like decor?
Each item is handcrafted and may include materials like wood, resin, paint, or sealants. To keep your item in excellent condition:
- Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or moisture.
- Do not hang or display near heat sources or in high-humidity areas.
- Wipe gently with a dry microfiber cloth if needed — avoid chemical cleaners or abrasive cloths.
Handle with care, and display in a way that protects against falls or impact.
Do your policies apply to non-jewelry items too?
Yes — all handcrafted artistry from TART Studios, including decor or other art objects, are sold under the same terms as our jewelry.
This means:
- All sales are final.
- We do not accept returns, exchanges, or custom requests.
- Orders are packaged carefully, but damage in transit must be reported within **48 hours** of delivery.
TART Studios is not responsible for damage that occurs after delivery, including due to misuse, improper hanging/display, or failure to follow care instructions.
